It is unfortunate their efforts fell short at Lynwood. Lynwood, unfortunately ran into an Etiwanda team that was defeated by Los Alamitos in the same manner Los Alamitos was beaten by Lynwood...ONE POINT. High school basketball is great, isn't it? Congratulations to Coach May and his staff for another winning season. This Los Alamitos team is one that will be remembered for many years to come. Throughout the season they showed heart, and functioned as a well-oiled machine. The doomsday theorists never expected 27-2 did they? Regardless of the outcome of the CIF Finals, the 2008-2009 Los Alamitos Basketball team emerged victorious. Los Alamitos had a great run this year.
