Boys soccer: Two La Habra players pick schools

Two of La Habra’s top players have made their college choices.
Halfback Jacob Barron will attend UC Davis, and Jonathan Prieto, who is also a halfback for the No. 3 Highlanders, will go to UC Irvine.

Just nitpicking, but still ….
PLEASE, PLEASE, lets call these positions midfielders. Halfback was used way back in the day and seems to linger in the “AYSO” vernacular.
Jacob Barron probably the best midfielder in orange county hands down
Both of the boys are extremely talented and will have excellent college careers. Should both be a lock for all county like north oc says
