Football recruiting: All-County kicker commits to Cal

An exciting Wednesday night of football recruiting news now includes another Pac-10 commitment by an O.C. player.

First-team All-County kicker Vince D’Amato of El Toro has committed to Cal, said Brad Bohn, the player’s private instructor with Orange County-based West Coast Kicking Academy.

D’Amato hasn’t done much with the national combines, but Bohn considers him the No. 1 kicker on the West Coast.
