Girls soccer: Tuesday’s recap

In the Freeway League:

Sunny Hills 3, Sonora 0: Junior Kayla Arenas and seniors Audrey McKay and Melani Serrata each scored goals, as the Lancers (17-2-2; 5-0) defeated the Raiders (4-7-2; 2-1-2) in a match-up of unbeaten league teams at Sonora High.

Fullerton 2, Troy 1: Alexis and Dominique Richardson provided the offense as the host Indians (11-5-3; 3-1) edged the Warriors (11-4-5; 1-2-2) to maintain sole possession of second place.

La Habra 2, Buena Park 0: Senior Tiffany Kracy and junior Courtney Wolterman each scored in the first half to lead the Highlanders (7-9-3, 1-3-1) to their first league win of the season over the host Coyotes (3-8-2; 0-5)

In the Golden West League:

Santa Ana 5, Westminster 1: Sophomore Berenice Pacheco scored twice to guide the Saints (7-6-1; 3-3) past the Lions (3-7-4; 1-5) at Santa Ana High.

Orange 2, Saddleback 0: Senior Lisseth Calderon and junior Jazmin Ruiz tallied goals, as the visiting Panthers remained undefeated in league with a win over the Roadrunners (0-8; 0-5-1).

In the Orange League:

Santa Ana Valley 6, Century 1: Jazmin Antunez recorded a hat trick, as the Falcons (17-0-1; 5-0) remained undefeated with a victory over the Centurions (7-7-3; 1-4).

Savanna 5, Anaheim 1: Freshman Lucia Cruz scored twice, while sophomore Maribel Chavez added a goal and an assist, as the Rebels (16-3-1; 4-1) remained a game behind the Falcons by defeating the Colonists (9-4-1; 3-2) at Savanna High.

Magnolia 4, Western 0: Junior Justine Dougherty scored twice to lead the Sentinels (13-6-2; 2-3) past the Pioneers (0-10; 0-5) at Magnolia High.
In the Pacific Coast League:

Corona del Mar 3, Laguna Hills 0: Juniors Ashleigh Smith, Hayley Raguse and Lauren Smits all scored goals for the Sea Kings (8-3-6; 3-1) who moved into sole possession of second place with a victory over the Hawks (3-10-3; 2-2-1) at Corona del Mar High.

In the Sea View League:

No. 7 Trabuco Hills 3, Woodbridge 0: Seniors Dani Benton and Jacqui Samis, along with freshman Aubrey Baker scored second half goals, as the Mustangs (10-2-4; 4-0-1) remained undefeated in league by defeating the Warriors (6-4-3; 0-3-2) at Alton Park in Irvine.

El Toro 3, Huntington Beach 0: Sophomore Megan Daniels scored twice to lead the Chargers (10-4-2; 3-2) past the Oilers (8-4-4; 1-2-2) at El Toro High.

In the Sunset League:

No. 6 Esperanza 6, Fountain Valley 0: Junior Katie Gallanes scored twice and four other Aztecs tallied goals, as Esperanza (15-3-1; 3-2) shut out the Barons (2-8-1; 0-4) at Esperanza High.
In the Trinity League:

Orange Lutheran 3, JSerra 1: Freshman Miranda Valdez scored twice and freshman Corey Tobin added five saves, as the Lancers (5-10-5; 3-2) scored three second half goals and knocked off the Lions at JSerra High.
