How the O.C. Top 10 Fared:

1. El Toro - tied Foothill, 1-1

2. Servite – lost to JSerra, 3-1; beat St. John Bosco, 3-0

3. La Habra – tied Fullerton, 1-1

4. Saddleback – beat Ocean View, 6-0; beat Segerstrom, 1-0

5. JSerra - beat Servite, 3-1; lost to Santa Margarita, 1-0

6. Fullerton – tied La Habra, 1-1

7. Esperanza – tied Marina, 1-1

8. Troy - lost to Sonora, 2-1

9. Foothill – tied El Toro, 1-1

10. Woodbridge - Did not play

Team you might not see in the top 10 next week: Troy.

Teams that might break into the top 10: Santa Ana, Valencia, Mater Dei, Tesoro.

Athlete of the Week Candidates (in no particular order):

1. Juan Gutierrez, JSerra: The sophomore forward had a goal and two assists to help the Lions beat rival Servite for the second time this season

2. Juan Cohetzaltitla, Marina: He was the emotional sparkplug for the Vikings on Friday and scored a key goal that helped Marina get back into the game, in which they tied Esperanza, 3-3

3. Billy Thompson, Santa Margarita: The Eagles’ star goalie finished with six saves on Friday as the Eagles shut out JSerra, a team that possesses two of the most dangerous forwards in the county
