
What happened: A day of firsts in the South Coast League. Dana Hills' 3-1 victory over San Clemente on Friday afternoon at DHHS was the Dolphins' first league victory and the Tritons first league loss.

How it looked: San Clemente had a couple opportunities early, but failed to connect, the story of the game for the Tritons, who outshot Dana Hills, 24-11.
Dana Hills scored midway through the first half and gained confidence from there. The Dolphins added two more scores after halftime and built a 3-0 lead.
San Clemente scored in the final two minutes.
Who scored: Micah Bradshaw scored the game's first goal off a cross from Marco Macias for the 1-0 advantage.
Zuhdi Abdallah added goal No. 2 on a 25-yard rocket that deflected off the goalie's hands and into net for a 2-0 lead. Abdallah had a header attempt deflect later, but Arturo Bustos was there for the rebound and kicked it in.
Steve Palacios scored late for the Tritons off a rebound from Facundo Chena's shot.
High-five to ...: Dolphins sophomore goalie Connor Kelly. Both coaches praised Kelly's performance Friday. He finished with 11 saves. He had one key save in the first half off a hard shot from Chena, but he was able to react quick enough and keep it out of goal.
