Canyon wins critical water polo match in OT

Goalie Erin Abrams made 21 saves and Caroline Patillo scored four goals as Canyon’s girls water polo team stayed in the hunt for the Century League title with an 11-9 overtime-victory against visiting El Modena on Tuesday.

Canyon and Villa Park are now 2-0 in the Division II league. They meet at Villa Park on Feb. 10 in a match that could decide the league crown.
