Nice to see Brendon Birdsell of Beckman finally getting his props. He’s being recruited by all the top schools but for some reason OCVarsity never seems to mention him in ANY articles. Maybe if he went to Tesoro he could get some recognition.
Props to Brendon. Both “BOOKENDS” should have been All CIF. They complimented eachother. How do you get 1st Team All League & City Defense and not get to be part of 1st Team All CIF? Best wishes for Brendon and his future. Well deserved. Feel sorry for Beckmans future football program. Good players should be awarded for there efforts, not spoken about negatively by coaching staff to future players. Look forward to the future.

i believe if the team didn’t make it to the CIF playoffs there players should not get ALL CIF honors. i know its by division, but how can u compare some players who didn’t didnt compete in cif play?

hey miles…. check out the all-cif lists from the cif office. they have several players with their incorrect year.
