Boys soccer reporters Damian Dottore and Chris Tobolski bring the first of the weekly contest, a challenge in which the reporters pick winners of five selected games.

The games this week:

Game 1: La Habra-Troy (Today)
Game 2: Saddleback-Santa Ana (Wednesday)
Game 3: JSerra-Mater Dei (Wednesday)

Game 4: Fullerton-Sunny Hills (Today)

Game 5: Servite-Orange Lutheran (Friday)

We are looking for some readers who want to participate weekly. Interested? E-mail ddottore@ocregister.com and ctobolski@ocregister.com (please include contact info). The choices are either picking a winner or picking a tie. (scores not included)

In order to keep the contest sane, anyone who wants to OFFICIALLY join needs to email ddottore@ocregister.com and ctobolski@ocregister.com

This way we can get your contact info, and send you the games early and get your picks and post them.

Of Course, everyone is encouraged to play along unofficially by leaving predictions in the comment field and see how they stack against the reporters.

We are looking for a few who want to participate every week, without question for the official contest. please email if interested.

my qualifications: I was the boys soccer writer for almost three months back in 2002 or 2003. I was the L.A. Galaxy beat writer for nearly five years and I also won the OCVarsity.com regular season football pick'em contest.
