The sophomore midfielder scored a goal and added an assist (his fifth of the season) as the Centurions upset then No. 7 Mater Dei, 3-1. Centruy coach Bruce Silverman said Alvear controlled the midfield and that was a determining factor in the outcome. The three goals that Century scored is the most that Mater Dei has allowed this season

It seems as though that young man had a great game. However Lucas Dall’Orso, the sophomore midfielder from Jserra catholic highschool (that’s on junipero serra road, San juan capistrano, CA) had a tremendous game against the always talented mater dei. Dall’Orso had 2 goals and an assist in the 3-2 victory. I believe this young man needs so recognition.
