
1. Jonae Ervin, Brea Olinda --- The 5-2 point guard showed off her quicks and an awesome array of moves on her many drives to the basket as she scored 28 points and dished out five assists to lead the Ladycats to a 71-59 overtime victory over Foothill.
2. Christina Marinacci, Foothill --- The 6-1 guard scored nine of her 22 points in the fourth quarter to help the Knights force overtime against the Ladycats. Marinacci fouled out with 39.9 seconds left in regulation. Who knows how the game might have finished had she been in there for the Knights in overtime? The refs whistled her for two questionable fouls in the second quarter.
3. Ashley Ward, Woodbridge --- The junior guard scored nine of her 22 points in the fourth quarter as the Warriors beat San Clemente for the second time this season. This girl is turning into a big-time scorer.
4. Kelsey Harris, Brea Olinda --- The junior shooting guard scored all 14 of her points in the second half and overtime to help the Ladycats defeat Foothill. She knocked down two 3-pointers to start overtime and Brea Olinda never looked back.
5. Kayla Moritzky, St. Margaret's --- The junior point guard scored a career-high 41 points to go along with seven steals and five assists in a victory over Sage Hill.
6. Kristan Liddle, Irvine --- The junior forward got a triple-double the hard way with 24 points, 16 rebounds and 10 steals in a victory over Beckman.
7. Kaitlyn Petersen, Mission Viejo --- The junior guard dropped 33 points on Aliso Niguel in a league-opening victory. It was her seventh 30-point game of the season.
8. Bridgitte Madrigal, Godinez --- She scored 23 points, including 12 of 13 from the foul line, and made five free throws in the final minute to give the Grizzlies a victory over Laguna Beach. It was the first league victory for Godinez, which just started playing varsity this season.
9. Lauren Shute, Dana Hills --- The Dolphins needed all 25 points, eight rebounds and two steals from Shute to hold off Capo Valley, 58-57.
10. Noelani Viloria, Huntington Beach --- Scored 14 of her 23 points in the second half and finished with five steals as the Oilers overcame a 15-point halftime deficit to squeak out a 54-48 victory over unheralded Fountain Valley.
