LEAGUE FAVORITE

Tesoro: With Chris Manresa at center and a productive set of guards, the Titans are the team to beat. But it's a good league in which the other five teams will be competitive. Capistrano Valley, Dana Hills and Tesoro could be in the county top 10 all season.

PROJECTED LEAGUE PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Chris Manresa, Tesoro: He averaged 18 points and 10 rebounds last year, and was All-County and All-CIF. Manresa, a 6-foot-8 senior, signed with University of San Diego.

Dana Hills: A 3-7 team in league last year, the Dolphins have been in the county top 10 most of this season and will contend for a playoff berth in this very good league.

Aliso Niguel: The Wolverines finished in last place last season, but could be one of the more improved teams in the league and in the county.
