how does a QB with a 40% completion rate, and part time FS with zero interceptions combo qualify for league MVP?
I don't understand the need to balance selections here and make everyone happy. There is no question that CDM's JD ABBOTT should be a first team selection! He's a horse of a running back that got it done with speed and power, inside the tackles and out, every game. His efforts made CDM's passing game and overall offense balanced, effective and very difficult for teams to defend against. If he were showcased on another one dementional team, and given a greater amount of carries, his numbers would have been off the scale... at the expense of team sucess! That is a testiment to his value to the offense and an important component to any first team selection. In addition, he went both ways and his presence on defense was as solid as it gets!
I believe that Jesse Rasmussen and Kenny Im of Beckman deserve Co-MVP's for the Pacific Coast League. I mean the adversity these two men faced every day on the field was second to none. Never have I seen someone do as much Front Squat as Rasmussen, and Im, well that kid's just a freak of nature. His Dejiness always shows up on the field, and just watch out once he gets some Kimchi in him.
