second of all....After five or six or 15 years on the wrestling beat, I would like to think that I know something about wrestling.

third of all....the rankings you're commenting on are for the week of Jan. 5. According to calender today is Jan. 12. I should have the updated rankings later today.

fourth of all....The Orange County Register, OCVarsity.com and Damian Calhoun are not in charge of the individual rankings. I do not have a say in how the 130 class is ranked or anything. I do have a vote in the team rankings, but not individuals.

fifth of all......the rankings are compiled by the orange county coaches association and emailed to me. I will then post them on OCVarsity.com.

Theres guys that got beat at Estancia invitationals this past weekend ranked above the guy that beat the higher ranked dude!! C'mon Calhoun, were you even there????? Lets get a person that knows wrestling and not football to do the wrestling coverage! It's all wrong across the board!!

im really suprised at all of the 119 pounders cutting down to 112's

its obvious 112's is going to be absoluetly stacked
should be very interesting to watch how this powered weight class will unfold!

Anthony Leonard, 103, from Los Al. glad to see him being ranked, He's a very good wrestler. Looking forward to see how he does this season. Seen him at the Manns and i was very impressed with him.

adam ortega of troy should be ranked above awwad yassin of fountain valley of 152s.... he pinned him at el dorado in the 3rd period

nick lin of troy should be ranked at 135s instead of wayde garcia of segerstorm... he took 4th at brea and 6th at el dorado... he holds a pin over paul mireles of sonora at el dorado

chris han of sonora should be ranked at 145s instead of stuart lum
he took 4th at brea and one match from placing at toc and el dorado losing to top ranked wrestler justin ibarren of santa fe by 1 point

sterling noji of esperanza should be above david meza of buena park at 119s
