Good job Carlos.....Defiinitely looks like you gave this list some thought and backing it up with the key wins and losses is a really nice touch. It's gonna be a fun season!
Was Villa Park rewarded after loosing by 20 to Foothill? Was the game closer than the score? Alot teams in SeaView are going to lose by 20 to Foothill will they move up too?
occoach: Villa Park was rewarded for its play against other teams. Foot is that good.
bbjunky: I have a feeling there will be a lot of shuffling with these rankings this season. There is a lot of parity after the top 3.
carlos?there you have troy at 8 in the county with out any quality wins against any quality teams from oc,why? why dont they stay at home and play a brea ,foothill,hb or rosary.Because as my freind sink told me they are way down from teams of the past. they have some long range shooters but not of samulesons status, and if the foothill stud can do that to bonnie what would she do to troy ? oc means oc not running and hiding all over the country. and how does apublic school afford the expenses anyway. so there they will remain with 1 loss the rest of the year unless sonors can just go lights out for 2 games in league and not worry about rest of really bad freeway.
allmost forgot to ask. is there going to be league breakdowns published in print this year, or are we throwing away 75cents a day . You do know the times doesent publish any hischool news anymore.
Dude that is a little unfair - Carlos is also on a tight budget and schedule and what he has been able to do with that is amazing, lets just be thankful that we are getting his hard work as you have said girls bball is being dumped on elsewhere.
not picking on carlos[i love you man] just want to see other programs mentioned once in awhile.
glass half full: I would like to see Troy against some top OC teams, but they are still up there from what I here. I will see them soon. League breakdowns will be comin up later this week.
FYI... Huntington Beach beat Fountain Valley last night, 53-48. A come from behind win. They were down 25-9 at the end of the 1st quarter.
For your information, Troy beat up on Villa Park by 20 in a scrimmage and beat teams 5-8 in the county this summer....badly. Troy is legit. And they will prove it! The OC teams are lucky they won't see them!!!
The Observer: I heard that as well, that's why I'm keeping Troy in top 10.
after last night , I stand corrected carlos. troy will definatley run away in league again. sonora has lost 5 out of last 6 and sunny hills is definatly looking strong but can they sustain once league starts . my take on leaguelooks like this, troy 10-0 runnaway and from there its adog fight for 2nd and 3rd. fullerton is big and physically compariable to no 22 in county elmo, but not as fast which could hurt against teams that are smaller and faster. la habra played elmo toe to toe for 3 and half qts before their big girl katty heard fouled out , and if the coach works like she did last night they could be in the mix. going to see sunny hills tonite to see if their record is deceptive, because they cant sustain on perimiter game every night in league. buena park big improvement but wont win inside game and outside shooting isnt as good as sunny hills. like i siad troy is better than i thought but rest of league is up for grabs. and carlos get to a game nad check out heard, porter and judkins [freshman] heard and porter sophs.
carlos. its latter this week and still no league breakdowns and league starts today . whats up ?
I have to agree with all you say junky and I'm looking forward to that game too.
