
Evan Finkenberg wasn’t the most recognizable name on Tesoro’s star-studded offense.
But the left tackle might turn out to be the most highly-recruited player.The 6-foot-5, 240-pound former tight end has been offered a scholarship by Washington State, Titans coach Brian Barnes said Monday night. Barnes said the senior also is heavily recruited by Colorado.
Cal, Arizona State and UC Davis also have shown interest in Finkenberg, a first-team All-County selection.
Finkenberg’s offensive linemate, Josh Cabral, has been offered by Nevada and UC Davis, Barnes said.
