OC H.S. Sports

OK this just takes the ….. how can you possibly put on an event and have teams play such weak competition – Beckman and Pacifica, come on now the only game worth seeing is the Santa Margarita v Etiwanda game but why they would play along these other games is beyond me – Chaparral may not even show up as the players are in conflict with their coach.
San Marg. should play hb or troy and Mag.. The comment about Chaparral was uncalled 4. Are u on the team? are u on thebench? are u at the practice? don’t represent the whole team, just yourself.
I can’t help but agree with efan, why not this lineup: have #8 Troy play #10 HB and keep SM vs. Etiwanda, Ventura vs. Magnolia, Summit vs. Chaparral, and let Pacifica battle it out with Beckman?
Isn’t HB playing Beckman that night at HB as well?
Come on guys.
Time out.
Do not confuse Pacifica of Oxnard with Pacifica of Garden Grove.
Pacifica of Oxnard is not a bad team ranked 15th in div 1AA by Cal Prep. with a 8-7 record. Pacifica of GG is a team more suited for Beckman.
I agree Beckman should not be playing the teams scheduled here.
Best game of the day is Brea v Foothill at FH @ 5pm.
Yes, the Brea vs Foothill game will clear up a lot of things. Foothill has played the majority of their games against OC opponents, whereas Brea has played travel tournaments.
It’s interesting to see how the coaches set up their schedules. Teams like Brea, Mater Dei, Troy and JSerra decided to play their preseason mostly out of county this year, whereas Foothill and San Clemente among others stayed closer to home. League play is almost here!
Why the input of SC – they went to Santa Barbara – not exactly close to home but a weak tournament anyway.
hey, big city slicker, club team, snobs. why shouldnt a not so good team play against better teams as you say, once in awhile ,it only makes them tougher and lets them see what they have to do or is it allways about your little city sliker, club team snot nose brats.
My sincere apologies to the fan from Pacifica of Oxnard, I was thinking Pacifica of Garden Grove. You guys are in a pretty tough swim and softball league as well.
Good luck on Saturday!
to glass half full – you need some IQ juice with the other half of that glass – it wouldn’t be bad for the not so good team, maybe in summer league but for the better team mid season doing that it looks as tho’ they’ve got something to hide. Doesn’t make sense for them to play a game like that.
