Here is analysis on the St. Margaret’s-Hamilton Union game from CalHiSports’ Mark Tennis:
Mark Tennis is one of the leading authorities on high school football in California and also is a deputy editor for ESPN RISE. Tennis shares his thoughts on the inaugural small schools division bowl game: “St. Margaret’s has to be favored. The real interesting factor will be how Hamilton plays after being off for such a long time. … And against a well-prepared team like St. Margaret’s, I don’t know. Doesn’t sound very tempting if I’m a Hamilton fan. I’m glad they’re in the spotlight because they’ve certainly done a good job. They were 13-0 last year … but they might not even be as good as last year. But they’re a good, solid team. Really good coach. … But they’re up against it, (with St. Margaret’s) I think. … (The Tartans) have probably played their toughest opponents with Yucca Valley and Twentynine Palms.”
