Esperanza is the League Champ/Co-Champ of the Sunset League four years running I don’t think many other teams can say that.

What’s the big deal about beating a PAC 5 team. Fullerton beat SC last season without much notice from Fryer. LH kicks the crap outa both D1′s they lost to in a rematch-they are the real deal

for everyone that says that LaHabra should stop crying, take a look at what your team did this year……did they win another CIF cahmpionship i bet not and how long has it been since some of the teams in the top 10 actually got TO the finals or past the first rround of the playoffs. And to all the parents of pac5 schools if you are soooo good why dont you play LaHabra?????

La Habra Stop crying you guys are not that great until you beat one of us you will never be in the top 10 because you guys are too weak to play with us you will probably have a better chance next year but not that much better i mean how do expect to get in the top 10 without beating one of our schools in the pac-5? I mean come on i know iam being harsh but deep down you all know it’s true and coming close to beating one of us isn’t close enough you have to beat one of us to get in the top 10 until then good luck and enjoy being in the top 15.

Steve Fryer, You do a great job with HS football. I think a lot of people don’t realize the vast difference between Pac 5 schools and others. When I was younger, the difference between schools was not that great but today the “powers” get lot of great players and are better than ever and the “have nots” are not as good as 50 years ago. My only fault with you is you do not take down a school enough for losing. LaHarbra and Laguna Hills are about even with Fountain Valley and Esparanza.

I have been following HS Football for a long time (1946). The QBs this year were the best ever! 4 of the South Coast league QBs are D1 . Picazo, Bridgford, Delancollotti and Schroeder. I have always though the Trinity and Sunset were the best League but this year I felt the South Coast was the best.

King is a great player but having scouted for D1 players I know many scouts are so stupid that if you don’ fir a pattern they will not recruit you. I remember Sweezy at El Toro years ago as an example.

Picazo would be a perfect QB at Stanford. I saw the QB thay are offering a scolarship too and while he has a great arrm he lacks Picazo’s mobility and smarts. I realize that Picazo was helped by “the Okalahoma line” of HS football.

I only have one problem with you. Why do you say Tustin running up a score is a exception? When did the not!!
