The Monsoons won by a field goal in the final seconds and went on to take the Division VI championship. That was the most recent time Mayfair made the finals. Laguna Hills hasn’t been to the finals since beating La Mirada, 56-14, in the Division VIII championship game in 1997. The third-seeded Monsoons have outscored their three playoff opponents, 107-33.
