If LH pulls it out, no one can say they didn't earn it. The Hawks will have played three teams from the Suburban League to win it all. Top to bottom the 'Burb is probably a little bit tougher than the PCL or any other league from the Southern Division. Should be a tough, emotional game. I'm from the O.C., so go Hawks!!

  • Country says:

After seeing how CDM handled Mayfair. I'll say LH takes it by 3 TDs or more.

  • bigboy says:

CDM almost beat Mayfair and beat La Mirada pretty good....Laguna Hills took care of ARtesia and dominated Norwalk....If the Hawks beat Mayfair id say the PCL is toughest league in the division....regardless both Laguna hills and Mayfair are two classy teams

  • roy says:

Laguna Hills should win Im also from the OC and i go to Tesoro High School, hope we can pull of an upset against POLY, it will be cool if i see Laguna Hills vs. Tesoro next season.

  • Mayfair says:

hmm....so LH blewout Norwalk and hardly beaten Artesia.... the very same two teams that Mayfair destroyed. I saw all Mayfair games and they've easily handled their season and play-off games (excluding Carona del Mar) their last game was extremely hard for the offense, simply put, they were'nt playing the Mayfair football they usually do. Defense was on lock but offense playd just as they did back in week two of pre-season. think Mayfair just needs to re-cap on the basics and they will have a great game this Saturday. They'll give LH a great game. i dont know. It's going to be a close one and I hope Mayfair wins. Also good Luck Tesoro, i hope they win.... im waiting for that big upset =p

  • The Man says:

LH hasn't seen the Division 1 teams Mayfair has point blank, and Mayfair will not fold under pressure through experience of other tough games in the past.
    Mayfair wins the title

it will be a tough, hard hitting game on friday. i will be there. steve fryer, of the oc register has picked mayfair to beat laguna hills. the hawks have appreciated your support, shall i say lack of, all year round, sir.

play hard, play your game, and i'm proud of all the hawks. go hawks! go "corona"!

  • Pat Knowles says:

If Steve picks Mayfair to win, then LH has a great shot, because Steve is right about 30% of the time. I watched LH dismantle CDM with a solid defense and a potent offensive. I watched LH dismantle Norwalk with some of the most unselfish play I have seen in a long time. The defensive MVPs of the game were the D-Line. They stopped the run. The linebackers should be taking them out to dinner for allowing them to look so good. LH is not the biggest team I have seen, but they have by far the biggest collective heart. Kudos to LH coaching staff and a great LH team. No matter what happens on Friday The 2008 Football Season is one for the books. Signed Uncle to #41. GO HAWKS!

  • OCoaster says:

Mayfair is lucky to be in this game, CDM..., a team LH handled, had Mayfair on the ropes all night, took it to them as undersized as they are, not to mention CDM did not even have their kicker nor big play maker suited for the game.

  • Johnny says:

Laguna Hills is undefeated this season. They are going to win the whole thing. If Laguna Hills plays Tesoro next year, it'd be a good match as well. I"d still vote for Laguna Hills Hawks over Tesoro if they play.

  • REDPWR says:

Size and speed to much for Hawks to overcome.
    Mayfair 28 Laguna Hills 10.
