The Canyon girls team continued its dominant start to the season, winning the Western Christian Tournament on Monday afternoon in Covina.

Senior midfielder Caitlin Williams scored the game’s lone goal 25 minutes into the first half.  Senior goalie Linzay Smith and sophomore goalie Sophia Genovese each stopped three shots for the Comanches (6-0).

Defense has keyed the Comanches season opening winning streak, as they have not allowed a goal this season.  Smith and Genovese have combined for 23 saves so far this season.
