Girls Soccer: San Clemente wins Butch Lee Memorial Tournament

The defending CIF-SS Division I co champions got their season off to a successful start, capturing the Butch Lee Memorial Tournament hosted by Cathedral Catholic High in San Diego.

The Tritons defeated Westview High of San Diego 1-0 in the tournament championship game, behind a goal from junior Alexis Mahony, her fourth goal of the tournament.

In five tournament games, San Clemente outscored their opponents 18-2.
