Kennedy’s girls water polo team has posted a big, early-season victory.
The Fighting Irish have won a $1,000 grant and $1,000 in adidas gear for being selected as one of the 25 Body By Milk MVP teams from the Boby By Milk campaign.
Senior Brittiny Grey nominated her squad in the Refuel Your School contest at refuel.bodybymilk.com.
And if the grant and gear weren’t enough, the squad also is getting medals, T-Shirts, a trophy and will be honored during an assembly Wednesday.
