An assistant girls volleyball coach and teacher at Capistrano Valley High School has been arrested for suspicion of having sex with a teenage girl, the Orange County Register is reporting:

"Aaron Westbrook, a 25-year-old social science teacher at the high school, was taken into custody Monday at the school after officials notified authorities of accusations of a sexual encounter, said Jim Amormino, spokesman for the Orange County Sheriff's Department.

"Westbrook, who is also listed on the school's Web site as a coach for the school's surf team and assistant coach for the girls volleyball team, is suspected of having sex with the student at his former San Clemente home, Amormino said. School officials became aware of the incident when another student, a friend of the female student, told another teacher."
