Preseason Top 10

1. San Clemente: Division I co-champions return talented core.

2. Esperanza: Deep and talented roster will guide defending Sunset League co-champions this season.

3. Aliso Niguel: One of the county's stingiest defenses will key charge toward a CIF title.

4. Mater Dei: Perennial CIF contenders will be in the title mix again this season.

5. Los Alamitos: Defending Sunset League co-champions allowed only five goals in league play in 2007-08.

6-10: Northwood, Marina, Santa Margarita, Canyon, Tesoro
