Corona del Mar-Laguna Beach preview

CORONA DEL MAR (9-2) VS. LAGUNA BEACH (5-6)

Site, time: Laguna Beach High, Friday, 7 p.m.

Outlook: The second-seeded Sea Kings, who finished second in the Pacific Coast League behind top-seeded Laguna Hills, took care of La Mirada, 26-15, in the first round. Now, the Sea Kings get Laguna Beach, a team they beat, 37-0, in Week 2. RB J.D. Abbott and WR Dillon Norton give CdM big-play capability. Laguna Beach has won five of its past six games. Sophomore Chris Paul scored five touchdowns to help the Breakers beat Santa Ana, 39-14, for their first postseason victory in 21 seasons.
