Not for teams playing on turf......
Regarding The La Habra v. El Dorado game I read that it is being played at Bradford Field. That venue is sporting a new playing surface. That is wonderful for the running game, you get better traction, and no grass stains to wash out! I am a little worried about the plans for the stadium published in the Register:
Bleachers:Summer 2009
Ticketing/concessions: Summer 2010*
Restrooms:Summer 2010*
Press Box:Summer 2010*
Parking: Summer 2010*
Does this mean I should take the bus to the game, eat before I go, not expect to see Dick Enberg calling the game, bring my own seat, and....well lets hope personal needs can be attended.
What is Valencia High's field like? Can it withstand a game on friday nite and then on saturday? How are the stands? Thanks. Poly band rules.
Valencia is turf....no problem.
"Not for teams playing on turf……"
D'oh! I forgot about that! So that leaves only 3-4 (depending on this adult school field) possible mud bowls.
IS TESORO PLANNING TO MOVE THE GAME TO A BIGGER SITE.
hey does anyone know where to get the tickets for tesoro mater dei if ur from Tesoro?
Andy: Tesoro likes to have homefield advantage at its on-campus stadium, so I doubt it.
Can anyone explain why they have CDM playing @ Laguna Beach...... are not the SeaKings the higher ranked as well as the team that whooped up on LB already this season 37-0........? What gives?
Because Laguna Beach played away & CDM played home in the 1st round.
From what i have heard the Tesoro vs Mater Dei tickets are SOLD OUT!!!
and they are not moving locations.
They were selling tickets today at Tesoro but from what i have heard they are SOLD OUT!!
question....why is the tustin/pacifica game in the middle of garden grove when tustin high stadium is clearly open? oh well, doesnt matter knowing wilkerson is bound to rush for 150+ yards and 2-3 tds anywhere he plays.
Why do they not then give the higher seed the homefield..... seems wrong as the first game u get the home reward which is the easier/lower seeded rival... then u win and the second game you have a tougher foe and a road game even when u r the higher seed.... lame.
No worries Jeff,
Corona del Mar is going to BUST UP and BREAK the Laguna Breakers no matter where they play!
TESORO THINKS SMALL AND WILL BE SMALL , THEIR FANS DESERVE BETTER AS MUCH AS MD FANS, I THINK ITS A LACK OF RESPECT FOR ALL FANS
SOMEONE NEEDS TO BUILD A 10,000 SEAT STADIUM IN SOUTH COUNTY. SOUTH ORANGE COUNTY FOOTBALL DESERVES BETTER
Jeff my are you complaining CDM does not even have a field of thier own. CDM should win this game but it will not be the blowout that it was before.
OCC ! As in ORANGE COAST COLLEGE in THE OC !
"why is the tustin/pacifica game in the middle of garden grove when tustin high stadium is clearly open?"
Pacifica played away & Tustin had a home game in the 1st round.
OCC NOT FAR ENOUGH SOUTH. TESORO SHOULD BUILD A BIG STADIUM ON CAMPUS. MISSION VIEJO WOULD LOSE ALOT OF RECRUITS TO THEM.
ok now you are all saying OHH Tesoro needs to build a bigger stadium....
Now who wants to help fund that...?
especially with all the budget problems in California schools....
