Hey La Habra- you lost to Los Al. But you are still in the playoffs. Edison- you lost also. Not our fault you injured yourself in your precious preconference schedule. It is what you do in Sunset that counts.. Narbonne 11-1 going for the city semi final. That one loss- Los Al. Mayfair picked to win this weekend. Yep lost to Los Al. Esperanza still playing ? Lost to Los AlSo Los Al is 11th?? What a joke this final poll is.

Was La Habra in the wrong against Anaheim? No, the reason La Habra started their starters in the third quarter and passed the ball was because La Habra's quarterback needs the passing reps. La Habra's offensive attack has been predominantly ground oriented this year which is somewhat of a change from years past. They don't throw the ball that well (Although Nygren looked promising and a lot more comfortable then he has all year) but they will probably need to throw the ball with some success to win their title and the coach realizes that because he has a clue! The coach also realizes that he must maintain his players conditioning as well as their mental edge in what could be blow outs in the earlier rounds so that they are in position to play four quarters in the end to win a championship. When La Habra replaced their starters in the third quarter they were playing a lot of Sophomores and for sure one freshman who scored and was effective. Nobody likes to get beat and especially to a classless organization. But La Habra took the necessary measures on both ends. If La Habra was trying to run up the score it would have been much worse! And Steve Fryer. If La Habra takes care of the football and throws the football with any type of authority they win both the Los Alamitos game and the San Clemente game and they're battling for the number one spot in Orange County. And you need to see "83-0" without running up the score Steve Fryer to get you to see your PAC 5 bias and recognize that when La Habra's on they can beat anyone of your beloved Pac 5 teams. And it's not just this year Steve Fryer it was last year also. Ask Frank Mazzota if last years team didn't have more depth and weapons on both sides of the ball? You dogged La Habra last year as well in relation to your OC Top 10. So, 'YES' Steve Fryer you need to see "83-0" without running up the score a few times so you can recognize when a program has arrived instead of jumping on an 'Old Dog' who has no new tricks. There's a lot of "Old Dogs" you got rated annually in your top 10 and some of those teams are tired and flat out overrated ass well as your Pac 5 leagues. I know you like comparing scores to judge the strength of a team but that doesn't tell the whole story does it Steve Fryer? Orange Lutheran 10 Tustin 0. And then El Dorado beats Tustin the last game of the season? May be teams get better as the season goes on? Maybe a team gets beat early on because they didn't take care of the football but won the battle in the trenches (La Habra over Los Alamitos). Maybe that's how the New York Giants (Southwest Team) defeated the New England Patriots (Pac 5 team) last year ? Maybe David can beat Goliath? And maybe greatness is recognizing David before he beats Goliath! Not after the fact. So, 'Yes' all you writers need to see "83-0" without running up the score so that a program like La Habra can be considered for a state Championship (small schools) game versus being overlooked and underrated because of media bias and lack of knowledge.

This only shows that La Habra needs to be moved out of their divison and into the PAC-5 where real football is play not agianst teams at the caliber of D-5

There is no reason for Edison and Newport Harbor to be ranked above LOS ALAMITOS. Los al beat edison first of and the LA vs NH was down to the wire. selfish on by the voters

The Orange League, which includes Anaheim and Magnolia, should be in the Southern Division (which what used to be called Division IX) and not the Southwest (Division VI).

As for the top 10 ... I think Newport Harbor and Edison still are among the county's top 10 teams. If a team ranked. The only non-top 10 team that beat one of the top 10 teams is No. 11 Los Alamitos.

Im having trouble trying to figure out what exactlly mean gene thinks la habra shouldve of done. The running clock rule does not apply in C.I.F. play . it seems it would be more hummiliating. if la habra just laid down so that anahiem didnt feel bad. bottom line is they got stomped it happens, this is football people.

HEY MEAN GENE -
In the last three years C.I.F. has put so much garbage rules on La Habra...it's ridiculous. We don't score enough points, we score too many points, we're unsportsmanlike, we can't play music, we can't play music during a play, we can't chant too loud the other team may get scared. It's high school football. You ever been to Schurr high school to play a semifinal game??? The benches were like the kind at an elementary school and we had thousands of people go watch that game. We asked for more seating or a larger venue to accommodate the fans but no...there solution was to give us risers for the band to sit on. Here's what I heard about the logic in Mazzota's letting the score be what it be....a couple of years back we had an opportunity to have the home advantage over another team; the C.I.F. people stated that since the other school had scored more points against there opponents they would have the advantage. So Mazzotta is just trying to be prepared for anything C.I.F. may hit him with. So, Mean Gene heres how it goes...when you go to C.I.F. especially an "at large berth" like Anaheim you'd better be prepared for ANYTHING!!!
