I actually prefer green tea, which is what I'm drinking over here at Corona del Mar High, a host of the CIF girls singles.

Some early results are in:

Orange Lutheran's Kaitlyn Christian is into Round 2 with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Ayala's Jasime Chen.

Beckman's Megan Heneghan didn't drop a game, beating Orange's Monika Kozan, 6-0, 6-0.

Heneghan and Christian are two of four seeded players at the site. Ocean View's Tiffany Mai and Estancia's Eleanor Edles are the other two.

Both are still playing.

Fullerton's Alexandra Lim won her first-round match, 6-2, 6-0. And Santiago's Jennifer Hua won her opener, 6-0, 6-1.
