Get there early and I mean really early….
If you’re going to the Mater Dei-Tesoro game, then my advice to you is to get there as early as possible…How does Monday sound? The teams met last year, but the game was moved from Tesoro to Saddleback College. I don’t it is getting moved this year. So, pack a lunch or dinner.
See you next week!

Who makes the decision about moving the venue for the MD/Tesoro game? A larger venue makes for more $$$$ coming in and more fans getting to enjoy the game. Someone wise up!
How about “97″ … number of yards (vs La Mirada, Friday) covered in Dillon Norton’s 5th return this season for a TD (3 Kick-off and 2 Punt)!
Somebody here- modesty prohibits me from mentioning who- ;-} wrote last week that the South Coast League was just as strong as the Sunset and Trinity and would prove it in the playoffs. Now there are only 4 Top 10 OC teams left, two from the SCL ad 2 from The Big-Money League. Let’s see what happens Friday night… I predict more woes for SCL foes!
the1,2,3 teams from the pacific coast league and century leagues all won their games. what other leagues can say that. just thought i’d throw that out there. not too bad, huh, empire?
I had to say something about that ridiculous score that La Habra layed on Anaheim High. What kind of goofball coach lets something like that happen. The man has no class. 83-0 are you kidding me?
Why? Whats the point? You my friend coach are complete idiot. Can’t wait to see you get beat along with anyone else that likes watching high school football.
Anaheim got what it deserved for running it’s mouth all over these blogs about other teams. Okay, so maybe stopping at 49, or 63 would have been nicer… but this is football. Nice doesn’t exist in the playoffs.
TW. I was at the game against Anaheim. We put the second and third stringers in after half time. Anaheim fumbled on first down twice after the kick offs. The back ups coudnt start taking a knee at the beginning of the fourth quarter. It was not fun to watch for either side, but it is not fair to blame the coaching staff. When you finaly get a shot to play as a back up. You want to play full throttle! Anaheim could not stop the second & third stringers is what Im trying to say. Anaheim did not belong in the playoffs.
TW: You obviously don’t know Coach Mazzotta. He is top notch, and one of the most respected coaches. What can you do when Anaheim basically gave up? It wasn’t easy for any of us to watch. Anaheim should not have been in the play offs.
I’m sure it’s spelled playoffs. One word???
How can you say someone is a top notch person when you cannot spell?
Maybe you should lay off the football and hit the books up there.
Matt, relax brother. The guy is just trying to make a point….This is a sports blog, not an spelling test.
Point taken, but people come on here all the time trying to make points and cannot spell.
Remember these kids are student athletes, so what kind of example are we showing them?
Oh wait that’s right, we show them that winning comes first class or no class. They put in work, they have done the time, they deserve to win no matter the point score. Winning 83-0 is classless either way you look at it. Then you come in and try to make a point but you can’t spell. hmmmm? What do you really care about? the future of our kids or how many games they win? and by how much?
Wow MATT - a space between play offs is not exactly a spelling error! Anyhow, La Habra is in the payoffs oops I meant PLAYOFFS, your team must not be for you to be so petty. Why don’t you take a look at your entry, I believe grammar and punctuation are just as important as spelling. Get a life!
