I'm pumped. Are you pumped? If you're not pumped, you better get pumped because the playoffs begin any second now.

I've set up headquarters at Tustin High for a first-round game between Magnolia and Tustin in the Southwest Division.

I'm getting my first look at Tustin's star running back Anthony Wilkerson. I've heard nothing but great things about him. And it's another chance to get a look at Magnolia running back Robert Cruz, who is a very special player.

With the intensity and pressure of the playoffs, it got me to thinking of the Fox series "24." Everybody involved in the playoffs needs to channel their inner-Jack Bauer because Jack Bauer gets the job done.

When you are in the playoffs, you need to be ready for any kind of rogue playoff team that's looking to kneecap you, throw you in a van and torture you for the codes to the nukes.

Always keep your head on a swivel, just like Jack Bauer. Jack Bauer is always ready for any kind of scenario. Jack Bauer never underestimates his opponent or adversay.

You can probably tell I can't wait for Sunday to roll around for the special two-hour edition of "24." But I also can't wait for the playoffs to begin.

The time is upon us. Let the madness begin!!!
