CAMPBELL HALL (5-5) VS. ST. MARGARET'S (10-0)

Site, time: St. Margaret's High, Friday, 7 p.m.

Outlook: Standout running back John Murayama (hamstring) will not play for the top-seeded Tartans, St. Margaret's coach Harry Welch said. Freshman Matthew Duenes (99 yards), brother of former St. Margaret's star Michael Duenes, will replace Murayama (1,032 yards, 22 TDs). Murayama scored seven touchdowns against Brethren Christian.

The Tartans' offense still features quarterback David Mothander (1,884 yards passing, 24 TDs) and wide receiver Alex Brolic (726 yards, 9 TDs). St. Margaret's has won 38 consecutive games, which includes a 37-0 victory against Campbell Hall this season. While the Tartans' offense has garnered attention, St. Margaret's has been equally impressive on defense. Opponents are averaging 3.9 points a game against a defense led by defensive back Brolic, linemen Jeremy Baileys and Freddie Valencia and linebackers Michael Schmall and Leo Garcia.

BRETHREN CHRISTIAN (4-6) VS. TWENTYNINE PALMS (7-3)

Site, time: Twentynine Palms Jr. High, Friday, 7:30 p.m.

Outlook: Surging running back Drew Fabrigas (1,073 yards, 14 TDs) is questionable for Brethren Christian because of a knee injury, Warriors coach Bruce Eien said. If Fabrigas can't play, Matt Bodziak (345 yards) likely becomes the No. 1 running option.

The Warriors started the season 0-5 but won four of their past five to reach the playoffs. After losing their fourth consecutive game to open the season, they switched to a running offense that uses a double-wing formation with I-backs. Fabrigas has flourished in the new offense. The senior has had two 200-yard games and 196 last week against Capistrano Valley Christian. Defensive end Ryan Randle (12 sacks) is a key player for Brethren Christian on defense. Twentynine Palms shared the De Anza League title with Yucca Valley. The Wildcats reached the second round last season, losing to Notre Dame of Riverside, 31-12. Brethren Christian's last postseason victory was in 2002.
