OUTLOOK: Palm Desert is coming off an upset of second-seeded La Serna in the quarterfinals. The Aztecs will be without one of their top players, senior Dejan Novakovic, because of a minor act of misconduct, according to Palm Desert coach Janeen Bahr. Troy is seeking its first trip to the finals. The Warriors’ high-powered offense is averaging 16.6 goals in its past eight games.
