Tustin is going to woooooop magnolia! i cant wait, im going to def. be there.

Tustin actually showed up this year, and brought their "A" game, underdogs....i think so but ive seen them in action and boy are they a force to be reckoned with baby !

  • Abeast says:

    Tustin all way!

  • THS says:

    TUSTINS GOT THIS
    magnolias weak sauce

    65!!

  • The Dick20 says:

Very intersting about this hole bracket everyone has a chance anyone against me?

  • shorty long says:

this is a great bracket, look for la habra as the team to beat! DARK HORSE WILL BE WESTERN THEY PLAY LIKE THEY CAN!!

  • 176786 says:

    thizz or die
    mo' fuckas

  • line6mom says:

    Cypress all the way!!!!!!!

  • THE UPPER BRACKET IS MORE TOUGHER THAN THE LOWER BRACKET... I ALREADY KNOW THAT ITS GONNA BE LA HABRA AND WESTERN IN THE SEMI FOR THE LOWER BRACKET, BUT THE UPPER BRACKET IS A TOUGH ONE.. BUT IM GONNA HAVE TO FULLERTON AND TUSTIN.. I THINK TUSTIN WILL PULL UP THE UPSET AGAINST FOOTHILL...

  • MotoType says:

What's the scoop on Santa Ana Valley High? I haven't heard anything about them.

  • KrazyGuy says:

Dont count out Magnolia theyve got the top rusher in the county and state he'll tear Tustin up!

  • football says:

i do not understand these brackets foothill number 1 seed ended up in a tougher bracker then the number 2 la habra...

  • johnny says:

HA! oh boy, ONE tustins got 4
    wilkerson, webb, lambert and lopez.

c'mon are you serious right now?

    you MUST be joking.

  • whsplayer says:

    santa ana valley is nothing
    they're gonna lose against fullerton

and western is gonna beat Sunny Hills
Western beat anaheim who beat sunny hills

  • football paul says:

I think the brackets are pretty solid. Upper might be a little tougher but El Do did beat Tustin last week. I like Foothills chances. Assuming we don't get cocky and take care of business against Pacifica we can beat Tustin for the 4th time in a row as long as we keep them under 4 rushing touchdowns. Which is doable. Richard Song will be back at LB and our D will be at full strength. We'll see what happens from there. Go Knights!!!!

  • Empire fan says:

Finally the playoffs are here and we can actually find out who the best of the best is and not just speculate about it with silly blogs and post's, there are some good 1st round matchups here with Canyon-Cypress @ Valencia-Trabuco Hills and a couple of interesting ones in Tustin-Magnolia @ Foothill-Pacifica and then the traditional 1st round blowouts which the other 4 games will be, 2nd round in this division is going to have some real good matchups and possible rematches from games played earlier this season, can't wait. good luck to all and may the best team win, my guess is that's going to be La Habra but let's play the games and find out.

  • Legit40 says:

Western might win a couple but when they go up against LH they are going 2 get smoked!!!!!!!!!

  • WingNut says:

El Dorado vs La Habra in round #2 ? Wow.

  • revenrico says:

still after all this time no one is taken Cypress for real!!! The sleeping Giant!!!rem/what david did with his little sling shot?line6 We are family!!!

  • Andy Anaheim says:

    GO COLONISTS!!!

  • revenrico says:

And don't count Pacifica out they have a good team and coach. We may see a upset

  • revenrico says:

But too get real we parents need too thank all the coaches, of all the teams, for a job will done with are kids.I for one have seen what coach Fenton and Selbe and the coaching staff and all those behind the team has done for are kids and it was more then football!!THANK YOU from a dad

  • Mean Gene says:

The two games Western had lost where both very close games. To say LaHabra will smoke them is realisticly overstated. I think this will be the Game of the Section. Many times, the best game of the playoffs was not the final, and this maybe one of those times.

  • Benny Tone Deaf says:

I love this division -- All OC

Of course if any of these top teams looks past their first round opponent then there will be trouble.

El Dorado can't look past HB at 2nd round match-up with La Habra or they will get beat.

Same goes for a few other teams.

Valencia and Cypress got the two toughest draws.

Go Hawks! One game at a time.

  • Benny Tone Deaf says:

One more thing: Last year I wanted CIF to hold the Three OC championships at Anaheim Stadium all on one day.

    2007 Championships
La Habra vs Fullerton (La Habra)
El Dorado vs. Trabuco Hills (El Dorado)
    Cypress vs. Pacifica (Cypress)

This year I get my wish. The championship is scheduled for Anaheim Stadium and all 6 of those teams have a shot. Man, I love this game.

  • ragen cagen says:

How does Anaheim as an at-large team play the #2 seed instead of the #1 seed??????

  • nike14 says:

go magnolia.we will go cruz-in on thusday

  • dirty says:

    wooooh how bout them mustangs?

  • FHSKNIGHT76 says:

Spirit of 76 is still living strong!

Foothill all the way! GO KNIGHTS!

First off, these boys have worked hard to get where there at, and with all the injuries they have faced this season, i think they'll have a pretty good chance at CIF with returning player Richard Song. I think the knights have greatly improved and i wish the best luck to them.

    To all other team parents/coaches/students:
congrats on making it this far, best wishes to you all. Have fun out there.

  • Legit40 says:

    @ MotoType
SA Valley has a RB Darius Nacoste that's just as good as Fullerton's.
They also have an outstanding WR Joe Garcia. But a flaw is their young QB, makes good but also bad decisions at times.
My guess is which ever teams running game doesn't show up is going to lose.
    Good Luck 2 all teams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Empire fan says:

ragen cagen: in response to your question of how does Anaheim the at large team not get the #1 seed Foothill as i understand it once the comittee sit's down and has the 16 teams decided they then rank them 1-16 and put together a bracket, then they have to go through that and make sure there are no same league matchups and they also try to stay away from any rematches of teams that may have payed earlier in the year though that is not as big as same league matchups which is not allowed, they then look at the 2nd round and try to align same league teams in a way they won't meet in the 2nd round either, which creates havoc on the bracketts and sometimes teams get moved around which is how Anaheim got the #2 team instead of #1, the Orange League has 4 teams in the playoffs so they have a team in each brackett and that's what caused the adjustments

  • gunny HB says:

Trabuco Hills is looking for upsets. With their QB back and rb decillo chewing up the yards, this could be another trip to the championship. How about that O-line. They are big, bad, and hungrey. The Mustangs have alot of weapons in their arsenal---watch for a solid run/passing game. They would look forward to meeting La Habra in Anaheim Sadium

  • cvic says:

foothill should have been paired up with anaheim. why because only one of the teams in the orange league is going to be ousted from the playoffs in the first round, so they don't have to worry about second round pairings. lets get it straight they aren't the empire. as for foothill good luck with Pacifica come prepared or you will be home for the holiday. Don't underestimate Cypress they are playing with a-lot of emotion and the tigers are always up for a physical game.

  • cvic says:

sorry all but one is going to be ousted

  • Country says:

"Dont count out Magnolia theyve got the top rusher in the county and state he’ll tear Tustin up!" - KrazyGuy

He'll get his yards but still end up losing. I mean dude, this isn't Katella, Estancia, Century, Santa Ana Valley or any of the schools he ran up 300 plus on. This will be a repeat of when he played Western. Magnolia gets blown out but look at the bright side. Cruz gets his yards.

"wooooh how bout them mustangs?" - dirty

I have them going to the semis at least. They're clicking at the right time and it seems everyone forgot that just 2-3 weeks ago they nearly beat Foothill. They're back. If they don't win this year. They'll be favorite to win all next year. This team is young. They're the dark horse this year that no one is talking about.

"They would look forward to meeting La Habra in Anaheim Sadium" - gunny HB

I have them playing La Habra in the semis. Which won't be at Angels stadium since they're on the same side of the bracket.

  • MHS says:

Don't be suprised if Magnolia beats Tustin.

    LOVE #3

  • Champions Train says:

Magnolia is going to have a tough time, with a experienced Tustin Team. However, can't count them out with Mr. #32....
