The Mariner's have been to Four CIF final"s in the school's 40 year's. The first in 1978 with my CRUNCHBUNCH Team and last Year with Tyler Ortiz & Company. With over 30 CIF Play-off' appearances my hopes for my Alma Mater to win a Championship have been futile! This year's team will have to play above themselves to win against Foothill and Tustin if they can pull off an upset on Friday Night. The J.V. Team went 9-1 this year so look out next year. Mariner's play like Champion's Friday and if you win good luck next week! Just 4 more game's guy's that's under 200 minute's for a lifetime of Memories!!! Each year Coach marrujo finds a way to take his teams to the playoffs, even in years that appear to be rebuilding. As a Tiger fan, I am pleased with our season and know that our football team will give us 100% in the playoffs. Good luck to all Empire league teams in the playoffs. Lets show the other leagues how much heart we have in the Empire league. (Just like last year) Lets Go Tigers!! We are proud of our Tigers.
