County Outlook: Northeast Division

Saddleback Valley Christian (10-0): St. Margaret’s was the dominant team in this division in the past. Now, with the Tartans in the East Valley Division, the Warriors have emerged as the team to beat in the division. Running back William Hinn is the key to the offense. The junior running back has combined for 1,300 yards and 10 touchdowns. Opposing defenses should keep an eye on Josh Squirrell. Squirrell recorded 63 tackles and was credited with 18 sacks.

Fairmont Prep (8-2): At one point, the Huskies were 2-2 after consecutive losses to Riverside Christian and Sadddleback Valley Christian. Coach Robert Mendoza then got things turned around and the Huskies closed the regular season on an eight-game winning streak. Richard Johnson rushed for 1,116 yards and 20 touchdowns, including eight in the final game of the regular season. Bo Jocson (136 tackles) will be key for the Huskies on defense.
