I am at the Esperanza-Edison game on this final Friday/Fryday night of the regular season. It is a must-win game for both in the Sunset League. There are a lot of must-win games tonight for playoff berths, others for league championships.

Among them: St. John Bosco-Servite, Pacifica-Cypress, Costa Mesa-Laguna Beach, Santiago-Los Amigos, and Corona del Mar-Beckman.

If Esperanza wins, there will be a five-way tie for first place. Details …
