Troy smoked Fullerton pretty good, "a whole bunch to nothing". My understanding is that they had a very good freshman season finishing second to LH. For what its worth, the Fullerton freshman team lost a bunch of starters due to grades.

Who won the Freshman game between Troy and Fullerton? A fan told me Troy had more players on their squad and were a little better. Is Troy getting more kids?

I totally agree Red. It is unfortunate that more people around the league don't understand what an idiot this guy is. If it weren't for him none of this ( and I mean none of this! ) would have happened. I feel bad for his kids though because even they know he is the most hated man in Fullerton and probably the Freeway league. Nice legacy to leave behind, to know you personally started all this hatred, only for it to come back to you. All you outside bloggers that chime in really have no idea, but all us parents and yhe kids from both schools know ( that doesn't include you over @ La Habra ). La Habra people unfotunately got caught up in this guys crap.

To Tomahawk, THANK YOU!
Perhaps when that certain loudmouth Troy parent graduates (and we all know who it is) maybe we can then all be friends again but unfotunately there is a younger son coming up!

I was also in attendance at last night's game, but mostly to see my senior grand-daughter cheerlead at possibly her last football game. The yellow flags were flying so often that I thought a hockey game was breaking-out, and I noticed a few more penalties that were not called. I am all for a friendly cross-town rivalry but I think this game pushed the envelope. Sometimes in the spirit of competition it is possible to forget that it's also how you play the game that determines the winner in the final outcome.

not happy - If you have TRULY watched Indian football for "many years" now...then certainly you realize that there is just a little bit of "recent" history between the two schools...if there were any "liberties" taken last night, I'm quite certain it had to do with many Troy football players suddenly becoming La Habra fans after last season, and taunting the Fullerton players AFTER the CIF championship game at Eddie West. These same Troy players said they "were supporting the Freeway league" in a news article, but not a single one made it to the Sonora CIF game last year to "support" them. These same Troy players who walked the sideline of La Habra's games in CIF last year. Right or wrong, what happened to Troy last year was NOT THE FULLERTON KIDS FAULT and it bothered the Fullerton players that these same kids who grew up playing pop warner together, going to the same schools, were now taunting them. So, as they say, what goes around, comes around. Is this going to last a long period of time, no it won't. When a certain Troy loudmouth parent and his son graduate (and both sides know who he is), this won't be a problem. There were many boys on the Fullerton team who circled this game on the schedule. I wholeheartedly agree with IndianAlum, the coaching staff DOES NOT condone what happens with penalties, but understands emotion.

Yes, I agree there were some personal foul penalties that occured throughout the game. Let's remember that there are three high schools in Fullerton that all play in the same league. Most of these kids that attend different high school within the city, grew up together, went to the same elementary, middle school, and most likely played youth sports together. The intensity is going to be turned up a few notches for these games. Lets not forget to mention that these are teenage boys who don't always have the best control of their emotions.
I know for sure that the coaching staff was reminding these kids to keep their emotions in check. Don't be mislead or assume the coaching staff condones that type of behavior, because that's not true at all. If you've dealt with teenagers before you know there's a good chance they aren't going to listen all the time.
