News from the press at the Cypress-Pacifica game at Bolsa: Pacifica QB Raymond Huizar, who has been banged up, is warming up. Cypress starting QB Max Reza will not play.

Zach Ortiz, the little brother of former Pacifica star Tyler Ortiz, will start for Cypress.

Reza is not playing because of internal bleeding from a tackle in practice Wednesday. He will have surgery on Saturday, Cypress coach Ray Fenton said moments ago... Huizar (elbow) will play his first game of league.
