In N’ Out is the place to be for Century League future

November 13th, 2008, 9:30 pm · · posted by

Coaches from El Do, Tustin and Canyon will meet at the In N’ Out near Canyon High for a series of coin flips to determine first through third place in the Century League. D.C. will hit me up with the outcome in abbout 30 minutes.

El Do, Tustin and Canyon will share the league title, but playoff position is very important.

For the furious finish to the Los Al-Newport Harbor game, keep going …

Newport Harbor’s Dillan Freiberg attempts a 23-yard FG with 13 seconds left in the game and it’s … GOOD!!!

The Sailors beat the Griffins, 24-23, and the “Sunset Doomsday Scenario” is alive and very well heading into Friday night’s game between Esperanza and Edison. If Esperanza wins there will be a five-way tie for first place between Newport, Los Al, Espy, Edison and Fountain Valley and then it’s coin flip-mania.

In the Freeway League, La Habra hammers Buena Park, 49-7, to take the league title outright.

In the Orange Coast League, Calvary Chapel leads Estancia, 12-10, after three quarters.
