Prediction: “They just have some horses.” That is what Esperanza coach Galen Diaz said of El Toro after the first round Wednesday. On paper, the Chargers have as much talent as any team in the division. And if they play together, watch out. They also can take some comfort at being home but Dos Pueblos is an young-and-upcoming team. If the Chargers don’t play better than they did against Esperanza, they will be in serious trouble. El Toro could use a statement game and will deliver an impressive win to get the rest of the division’s attention again.
