Santa Monica (22-3) vs. Buena Park (18-10), at Cypress College, 3:15 p.m.

Prediction: The Ocean League often supplies a few teams that are hard for us Orange County water polo observes to get a good read on. This Santa Monica squad is another example. Great record but we still haven’t heard much from them. I have them fourth in the Millikan tournament. Santa Monica did go 10-0 in the Ocean League and is seeded fifth, one spot behind the Coyotes. Buena Park will use its balance to end the mystery and sink the Vikings to reach the semifinals for the first time.
