I think the difference right now is that Barkley is not the only player playing against Orange Lutheran. The whole MD team has been playing well and is utilizing everyone. They are not depending solely on the pass like last year, which equals less predictability for Olu's defense.

Hard to imagine a player as great as Barkley could lose to the same team four consecutive years, i think he and his teamates will step up and end the streak this year in a very high scoring and entertaining game for everyone and we may see a rematch in the playoffs

Mater Dei fans aren't talking much because it doesn't pay. Let the boys on the field do the job they've been working towards since June. This game is in their hands. The better team tomorrow night will win. It happened last year, and the year before that. MD has to play with the passion they showed against Servite and Bosco. If they don't have it, it could be a long night.

MD appears to have the better squad and is playing better now but O-Lu probly finds a way to get the W. They're not impressive statistically but my $ is on Lancers who will be in Barkleys face mask all night.

This game will be a great one! It should be better than last years game. I just hope MD brings that well balanced offense that has shown up since league started. We all know both teams can put up points so MD's defense will have to come up big, possibly cause a turnover or two. If the Monarchs can mix it up, bring the pressure, and play with passion throughout the game, they will be league champs.

Based on what I've seen the past couple of weeks, I think Mater Dei is probably 14 points better than OLU. The Mater Dei defense held a potent St. John Bosco to 6 points and contained a quarter back everyone said could not be contained. If that Mater Dei team shows up
the Monarchs will win.

I know Monarchs fans flock in bunches to the game, but they don't seem much of comment leavers.
What's up Mater Dei fans? This is a huge game for you. Will Mater Dei roll, or are we going to see "the Pattern" played out again. Mater Dei beats Servite, Servite beats O. Lu and O. Lu beats Mater Dei?
