With the Golden West League title on the line, the Westminster Lions turned to No. 21 and he didn't disappoint.
The week 8 offensive star is ...
Aaron Garbutt, Westminster, Sr., RB
Garbutt (bio and stats) rushed for 216 yards and four touchdowns and he completed one pass for a touchdown (yes, he accounted for all five Westminster touchdowns) as the Lions defeated Segerstrom, 33-28 Thursday.
Since Garbutt was moved to running back at the beginning of October, he has rushed for 680 yards -- an average of 170 yards per game. That's big time.
