LA HABRA — The rushing tandem of Joshua Quezada and Ronnie Hillman proved to be too much for Sunny Hills to handle, as La Habra ran past the Lancers, 41-7, Friday night in a Freeway League game played at La Habra High.
Quezada gained 144 yards on 12 carries, and Hillman had 104 yards on eight carries.
The Highlanders (6-2, 3-0) have outscored Freeway League opponents 148-7, but Hillman was not impressed with offense.
“We were sloppy tonight,” Hillman said. “Our offense was lackadaisical and I think overlooked them a little bit.”
