Foothill-Trabuco Hills recap

October 31st, 2008, 11:25 pm · · posted by

MISSION VIEJO — He was wide open in the end zone if only Landon Maslyn could get him the ball. But under duress from the onrushing Foothill defense, the wide receiver’s pass was woefully short.

It landed in the hands of linebacker Dominic Cammarota, and with it the Sea View League title.

It’s all a formality now.

With its 20-15 victory at Trabuco Hills, Foothill (7-1, 3-0) is poised to claim its fifth title in nine years.

By defeating the biggest obstacle on the schedule, the Knights should coast to a No. 2 seeding in the division when the playoffs roll around in three weeks. They are ranked behind Fullerton.

I would just like to congratulate Foothill on a great game!
“Kudos” to Trabuco and the Refs, Especially #10. We all saw you in the stands as you punched(literally) the receiver after he was down right in front of the Refs. Grow up and coach teach your boys some sportsmanship. Winning isn’t everything!
