HOW I VOTED ON THE TOP 10
1. Tesoro (I voted them No. 1 last week, too, but more people voted for Edison)
2. Orange Lutheran (Lancers looked like a No. 1 team last week, against St. John Bosco)
3. Mater Dei (Monarchs looked like a No. 1 team two weeks again, against Servite)
4. Los Alamitos (the top four teams are interchangeable, so no problem here with anyone who voted Los Alamitos at No. 1)
5. Servite (when the Friars have it together, they can beat anyone)
6. Edison (shorthanded by injury, but Chargers competed quite well against Los Alamitos)
7. Mission Viejo (outcome of game this week against San Clemente will reveal a lot)
8. San Clemente (up to its defense, really, to beat Mission Viejo)
9. Esperanza (four of six victories by three points or fewer)
10. La Habra (by thin margin over Fountain Valley, on this ballot).
(Editor’s Note: There is an 11-person panel that votes every week on the county top 10. Steve Fryer makes the selections for the teams 11-25.)

Shorthanded ? Except for one player, did not all the “injured” Chargers play last week? Heard Crissman’s name mentioned on several plays. No mention of Evan’s ankle injury, maybe because we WON..
Wonder if there are any plays Barnes Vs Barnes have on the sly. If that matchup ever comes- give the nod to Evans as the better QB.
