Valencia dropped five spots after losing to Cypress. The Centurions went from unranked to sixth. Canyon dropped three spots, Loara went down to 10th. Fullerton is still No. 1 and La Habra is third. Trabuco Hills (remember them) is up to eighth...didn't Tustin beat Western?

How in the world can anyone rank Fullerton and Foothill above La Habra with a straight face?? I realize both schools are having good years, but have you seen La Habra play this year? La Habra had chances to be Los Al & San Clemente with both games going down to the final seconds. La Habra's defense is very tough and with a explosive offense to go with that they certaintly are the team to beat in the Southwest. Let's make a team actually beat La Habra first from this conference before giving them too much credibility and such a high ranking...

Well said prouddad... La Habra's only bad marks are two well played hard fought battles with 2 top 10 teams in O.C. They will show everything on Nov. 7th. Fullerton is good but like I have said from all along as soon as Micahel Allain is stopped, Fullerton is nothing...

Any rankings with Loara in the top 10 cannot be taken seriously, they have beaten nobody will go 1-4 in there league and finish 5th, and no Orange league team other than Western can even be considered a top 10 team in this division as no team but Western would finish higher than 5th place in any other league in this division,in fact it's a waist to send three Orange league teams to the playoffs as there will be many better teams than them not making it from other leages, and please Sunny Hills and Villa Park getting top 10 consideration? not a chance, and until someone from this division actually beats La Habra they should be # 1, can't wait for the playoffs to begin !!
I'm not a fan of Tustin by any stretch of the imagination, but they should be ranked better. Anthony is the anchor no doubt, but if you focus on him Webb will make the highlight reels. Their line is big. #9 is a dude. You'll see if you play them....they are tough.
Have any of you La Habra fans actually watched any other teams play...If you take an objective approach toward ranking the teams it should be.
1. Foothill
2. La Habra
3. Fullerton
4. Tustin
The reason for this is that Foothill is the only team that has beaten a Division one team (Santa Margarita), and their only loss was there first game to a good Dana Hills team. La Habra should be number two because they put up a good fight against two very good Division one teams and have dominated the rest of their games. Fullerton is #3 because they lost to CANYON, a game which everyone seems to have forgotten. Tustin has picked up speed and would beat any of the teams below them hence the #4 ranking.
All of the crap that posters like (pete, dee ray, THOMASCNIC, and ProudDad) say does nothing but make themselves and who they represent look ignorant and just plain dumb. If you are gonna complain or boast at least back it up with facts
How could anyone who is sensible place Fullerton at #1? I mean please, every single time I go to a Fullerton game I just get entiertained by the "Michael Allain Show." I mean honestly when I went and saw that La Habra Los Al game, I was so impressed by the La Habra defense/offense, its not even believable how many weapons they have on both sides of the ball, and what does Fullerton have....Michael Allain. But regardless of all that who has Fullerton played that even could be considered a Pac-5 team?...definantly not Eldo or Western. La Habra put up an amazing fight against Los Al and San Clemente, something that Fullerton hasnt shown all year. I am calling a "two in a row" loss with Fullerton: one on Nov 7 with La Habra, and the other on Nov 14 against Troy. Fullerton will never regain the respect they once had in the county, after their antics from last year. GO LA HABRA!!

Answer: NO! Since you will lose to Magnolia and escape Savanna with a field goal like Anaslime did! Get over it - the Orange League (except Western) is in the wrong division. The OL belongs in the Southern where they can compete... kind of.
football fan --- What you say about La Habra's team is correct, yet when I see them, it's the "Hillman/Quezada" show!!! Why is it the the box scores just repeat, Hillman, Hillman, Hillman, Quezada etc... do they show any reserves for the next year? Go to a Magnolia game, and its the "Cruz" show...
Quit obsessing about Allain!!! But keep enjoying the show as everyone has since the kid played Pop Warner! EVERY TEAM HAS ITS STANDOUTS AND EVERY TEAM FOCUSES ON THEM along with the media and, I guess, you. As stated by Allain - quoted by him in the paper etc. its about the TEAM. If the line does its job, then he gets through.
I am sorry, YOU ARE OUT OF YOUR MIND (and/or a Troy football parent) if you think that Troy will beat Fullerton. They BARELY won the game last year with their all-world seniors. The Indians will never forget the Warriors buddying up on the La Habra sidelines. Many Fullerton players attended the San Clemente game -- did you see them parading around the Triton sidelines??
And BTW, as stated over and over and over and over and over and over (because the small-minded, have-no-lifers obsess over this), it was Troy's "ANTICS"! Maybe you will get over it after the 14th, be glad for the running clock.
On Fullerton...What school with a winning record has Fullerton played??? What schools has La Habra played that has a winning record and "Ranked" ??? Answer these questions and you will see who is the best in the Southwest Div./Freeway league.
The scores that Fullerton has posted...against teams with loosing records and a team, Sunny Hills, I believe has only 35 playes that play on both sides of the ball and was littery worn down in the 2nd half. What did Sunny Hills do to them in the first half when they were fresh with a good defence..."Shut them and there running back out" with a exception of a blocked punt/score by there defense, that's all they could get. There offence was....."Shut Out"
When Fullerton playes La Habra they will finally play a good football school, that has played ranked teams and lets see who comes out on top???? My Guess La Habra
i will name them for you, just this pass year we had aaron novikoff go d1 to eastern michigan, petey puga go to southern utah, and jason davis go to UNLV. And that is just this year. With about another 4 players going D1 this year. SOO highschoolfb...were gonna beat you again this year and shut you up again just like last year. Thats just how it goes sorry man

I guess El Dorado USED to have a 2 year winning streak (minus 2 losses to Espy each year) and 2+ CIF rings, UNTIL Fullerton won. And Western must be a type of movie, not a 5-2 football team, also with a great running back(s).
And Downey and Westminster were such foes for LH? And as you will attest, do these rankings matter???? One minute you diss them because your Highlanders aren't #1 and the next you use it to make them heroes. Quite a contradiction.
Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't La Habra IN the Freeway League? Do they not play Sunny Hills, Buena Park, Sonora, and Troy too? You make no sense (or in your spelling book, 'sence'). And I am sure the Sunny Hills will give your precious Highlanders a fight too!! The Lancers have a great coach that is bringing hardcore football skills to the program.
And it is too bad that because of the open enrollment policy of the Freeway League, kids "transfer" where their sporting options are the best. Never mind the athletes that live out of the district and "test" for Troy tech so they can play football or basketball . . . sounds a bit like one of those 'elite, costly, private schools! If the students went to their 'home' schools, and Troy didn't import techies, all the La Mirada kids would stay in La Mirada instead of transfering to La Habra . . . what a more level playing field the Freeway would have?? Just a thought!!!!!!
