Here are Steve Fryer’s teams 21-25:
21. Canyon (3-3): I disagree with the assertion made by others that Canyon is the most talented team in the Century League – Tustin probably is that team. But the Comanches’ victory over El Dorado was a big step toward a playoff berth and perhaps the league title.
22. Capistrano Valley (3-3): Probably the mystery team in this top 25. The Cougars’ three victories are against teams that are a combined 2-16, and their three losses are to teams that are a combined 16-2.
23. Corona del Mar (5-2): The Sea Kings lost to Pacific Coast League favorite Laguna Hills, but still have three tough league games remaining against Irvine, Beckman and University. After Laguna Hills, the PCL is a balanced group.
24. JSerra (5-1): Brought down to earth by a 35-3 loss to Orange Lutheran, this still is the best Lions team yet. They probably will go 0-5 in league, but a foundation is being constructed.
25. St. Margaret’s (6-0): Another game, another shutout. This time, it was a 31-0 victory over Ontario Christian for the Tartans’ fifth shutout. They had to work for this one, too, with only a 7-0 lead at halftime.

how is jserra ahead st. margarets. Sure St. Margaret’s schedule isnt Division 1 teams but Jserra’s is the weakest they possibly can. I have seen both teams play. And St. Margaret’s unpredictable offense and swarming defense would destroy JSerra. I wonder how much JSerra paid OCVarsity to put them in Top 25.
too true what you say tartan, we used to scrimmage jserra preseason and would beat them every time
